Next week is LEGO WEEK! I am teaming up with several blogging friends to share oodles of fun activities with you starting on Monday.
I will be posting a new activity each day using LEGO duplo bricks or the regular smaller LEGO bricks. I will also be sharing several other awesome ideas from my creative friends.
LEGO WEEK will be featuring playful learning activities primarily for kids ages 3-5 though I will pass along tips for modifying the activities for the older or younger crowd.
Make sure you pop over to our Toddler Approved Facebook page and "LIKE" it (if you haven't already) so that you don't miss any of the posts I share from others.
To get you excited for LEGO week, here are a few of our favorite LEGO activities that we've created so far...
Simple LEGO challenges for kids
LEGO Puzzle Book (shared at Kids Activities Blog)
Sort & Drop Activity with LEGO bricks
Painting LEGO mini figure pictures

Awesome ideas! My boys are going to love these activities and won't even know that they are learning as well. Thanks so much, Julia 🙂

There's so much to do with Lego! I did over a dozen blogs in March on ways that Lego and Duplo play can promote early learning and development. Our library has a Lego club with an idea for each month and a Lego builder is coming in 2 weeks to make a giant whale to kick off the summer reading program.
