2014 was the year for sensory play at our house! I also started a Sensory Play for Kids pinterest board and have really enjoyed collecting and trying out activities to get kids engaged using their senses! We have especially loved using our sense of touch through mixing, squishing, stomping, zipping, and shaking.
Today I am sharing 18 awesome sensory activities that have been the most popular in our house and over on Pinterest and Facebook over this past year.
Trying to just pick 18 was like choosing a favorite child. I probably could've picked 118.
Below you'll find links to 18 awesome sensory activities. They are in no particular order but if you click on the name of the activity you'll be sent to the full tutorial so that you can get all of the details and do the activity yourself. I'd love to hear your favorite sensory activity from 2014 as well!
