Mother’s Day Classic – Egg Carton Flowers

I can clearly remember making egg carton flowers (when I was 2 or 3years old) in my nursery class.  It was fun to do it all over again with my daughter. 

Materials Needed:  Egg Carton, Scissors, Pipe Cleaners, Scissors, Paint

Paint the egg carton.  Most instructions will have you cut the egg cartons into individual pieces (flowers) first, but I decided to leave it intact to make it easier for my daughter to paint (and also to prevent paint from getting all over her). 

Let it dry.

Cut into individual pieces.

Poke two holes in middle of "flower".

Place one end of pipe cleaner through one hole.

Bend and thread through other hole.

and . . . twist around remaining "stem".
