What's an easy spring craft for preschoolers?
Kids will love making these simple nature suncatchers! Not only are they fun and colorful, but this is a great activity to help kids build their fine motor skills.

- Clear tape
- Craft sticks glued together into a frame shape
- Flower and leaf trimmings
- Hot glue or white glue
- Markers
- Sticky paper (Con-Tact paper is great)
- Scissors
- Twine
Instructions
- Glue craft sticks together to make a square frame (use hot glue or white glue to secure the sticks together)
- Glue a piece of twine on the top of the square frame to create a way to hang the suncatcher.
- Cut out a square piece of contact paper to stick to the back of the craft stick frame.
- Secure the Con-Tact paper (sticky side out) to the square frame with tape .
- Have kids decorate the craft stick frame with markers.
- Give kids a bowl of flower and leaf trimmings.
- Encourage kids to snip and rip from the nature trimmings you give them and stick them onto the center of their sticky frame.
- Once they have a design on their Con-Tact paper, cover their flower art with an additional piece of contact paper to secure the design into place (placing the sticky sides together).
- Secure the edges with with tape.
