Materials Needed

- Baking Soda (I usually buy this at Costco)
- Bowl
- Cups (3-5)
- Food coloring
- Measuring cups
- Paint brushes
- Shaving foam/cream
- Squeeze bottles
- Spoons
- Spray bottle
- Vinegar
- Water
Fizzy Sidewalk Paint Instructions
- In a big bowl, mix 2 cups of baking soda and 1.5 cups of water.
- Add 1.5 cups of shaving foam/cream and mix.
- Separate paint mixture into cups and then add food coloring to make one color in each cup.
- Add paint to squeeze bottles or leave it in little cups with paintbrushes. Pro-tip: Muffin tins make for a great paint palette.
- Put some vinegar into spray bottles.
How to play with Fizzy Sidewalk Paint
- Take the sidewalk paint outside and squeeze it on the pavement. Draw designs and different creations!
- Using a spray bottle full of vinegar, spray vinegar onto the paint.
- Watch it fizz!
- Paint some more and repeat.
- Wash down the fizzy paint with water when you're done.
*Note, all surfaces are not equal. Make sure to test this out in a small spot on your sidewalk or ground before starting to create to make sure it works and will wash off your sidewalk or surface!
