These days I only do activities with my kids that are super easy to set up and use materials around the house. I want them to have fun and play together and I also don't want to be shelling out a lot of money or spending more time setting something up than they will actually spend playing with it!
Our big plastic tubs for sensory bins are my favorite supplies we have at our house along with water and other random things! Easy to set up water play activities are usually a hit with all of my kids (ages 2 through 10) and get everyone moving, learning new things, and having fun!

WHY TRY OUT THESE SENSORY TUB IDEAS?
These water play sensory tub activities help kids with problem solving, fine motor skills practice, color recognition, letter recognition, counting, matching letters, pouring, scooping, along with helping them understand some simple concepts like sinking and floating and how gravity works.
They are also just plain fun and whenever I set one up, I am guaranteed some free time to relax and watch while the kids enjoy exploring the materials and water!
