Let's do some fizzy spray bottle art! You probably already have all of the materials at your house!

Baking soda and vinegar go together like peas and carrots. If you aren't buying them in bulk from Costco, I highly recommend it! Fizzy activities are always the best way to save a day that is going downhill.

Prep-Ahead:

Fill up your spray bottle with vinegar so that you're ready to create some art!

How to make fizzy spray bottle art:

All fizzy activities start with baking soda!

1. Put your coffee filter flat on a tray and sprinkle baking soda on top using a teaspoon!

2. Squirt food coloring (or liquid water colors) onto the baking soda and coffee filter.

3. Grab your spray bottle and start spraying the baking soda!

4. Watch the FIZZ and color reaction! Feel free to add more colors if you want more colorful creations.

Pro Tip: For best color mixing results, we like to stick with only red, yellow, and blue food coloring!

5. REPEAT with more coffee filters.

6. Let the coffee filters dry on a flat surface and then you can hang them once they are dry.

Colorful coffee filters are great to use to decorate for holidays! We like to hang them up using twine and clothespins to make a colorful banner across our mantle.
